(More customer reviews)This is probably the most handy and versatile kitchen gadget! A 2 in 1 that not only grinds coffee like the most sophisticated grinder but can also, with only changing the plastic cup and blades, chop onions, garlic and any prepping I need for cooking and salads.
It is simply ingenuous! Now I have my chopper always at reach and not taking any space on my counter. I can put both plastic cups and blades in the dishwasher to clean it and wipe the base with a paper towel.

(More customer reviews)I have had the spacemaker coffee grinder for about 6 mos. The grinder cup showed signs of cracks at about 4 - 6 weeks. It now has a hole in the side from the result of the cracks. This has NOT been abused in use. And has never been used for anything else but coffee beans. I like the design, but I hope I can find a grinder cup replacement. Which I hope lasts longer.

A nice addition to any busy kitchen, this two-in-one appliance functions as both a mini food processor and a coffee grinder. To use, simply add coffee beans to the transparent plastic container with the metal bottom, secure it in place, and press the power button to set the durable stainless-steel blade spinning. Coffee beans grind to an even consistency that helps ensure fresh, flavorful coffee. For food processing, the unit comes with a separate transparent plastic container with a rubberized lid and a blade for chopping. (More customer reviews)This product should be better boasting the Cuisinart name! We love our Cuisinart Coffee Pot. This grinder was very disappointing because the grinds do not evenly grind. The top grounds will not be ground at all unless you remove the lid and stir constantly, while you are pulverizing the bottom. If it had two blades, another one like one inch higher then it would likely grind better. It is easy to clean up but the pain of stirring and then pulsing sort of takes away from this benefit! It does have a handy lid to store the grounds in. My husband likes his espresso ground fine but it is impossible with this grinder.

(More customer reviews)Just fill the bowl with beans, press the button and with a lot of noise, this coffee grinder whizzes into action! Nothing's nicer than fresh ground coffee and this Cuisinart lives up tho the "Cuisinart" name.
Areas which I think need improvement are insulation of some sort, if loud, grinding noise for a few minutes bothers you. Also, this unit is not immersible, and you must clean it with a wet cloth rather than being able to dunk the unit in warm, soapy water. For this reason, I do not recommend using this for coffee and for spices, unless you are intentionally blending for flavor.
This grinds quite well, however the bowl isn't large and for large pots of coffee, I've found that I must grind the coffee in two loads.
You cannot see the consistency of your grind accurately, so you must open the unit and peek. It grinds so well and so quickly that it is easy to over-grind your beans.
All in all, it's a handy little gadget that grinds well and quickly. Its blades and motor have withstood regular usage. With little practice, you're able to grind uniformly. With routine use, I'm able to discern when the coffee is ground to my preferences by listening to the sound of the beans within the unit while grinding.

(More customer reviews)There's only 1 thing a coffee grinder should do -- grind coffee well. Like most of the other reviewers, I found that no amount of grinding will produce a grind that can even be considered acceptable. With small batches of beans, the product comes out in chunks of all sizes -- some beans are barely cut in half. Larger batches yeild somewhat better results, but still incredibly uneven. This is an expensive grinder that's not worth a penny.
