(More customer reviews)I received this as a Christmas gift, and it works really well. You freeze the bowl, make your mix of whatever you want, and just pop it on and you have soft ice cream in 5 minutes, thicker ice cream in about 10 minutes. Makes 1 large bowl of ice cream, but you can make two batches with the double bowl. Also this doesn't take a whole lot of space up, so it's good if you don't have a whole lot of storage (which I don't). I can't wait to make fruit sorbet and smoothies with fresh fruit in the summer. I really like this because you control all the ingredients, so it's really good if you have food allergies, or diet restrictions. You could make fruit sorbets with spenda or honey - so this would be great if on a diet. The only thing, this doesn't mash fruit - so if you want to make something with fruit and want it really smooth, run it through a blender first. I just chopped a banana really small and it made for some great chunky banana ice cream :) Definetly worth the money- Great Buy!

Tried 11 Oster's and 8 Black & Decker steamers over the past 2.5 years. Oster's electronics went out. B&D's plastic cracked in dishwasher and fell apart. We steam 2x per day fully loaded.
The Taylor made Biggest Loser Steamer so far exceeds both the others. It's still new - only 3 weeks of use - but it's design is obviously well thought through. Easy to read numbers on the timer, back-lit water level indicator, power on light easy to see across the kitchen. Nice colors and lip handles on water part means you don't have to wait for it to cool down to take apart. Plastic is thicker so we hope it won't crack in the dishwasher.
UPDATE: Less than 2 months of use, like a hot marbel dropped in cold water, the CLEAR plastic parts are shattering. Only the CLEAR plastic, NOT the GREEN plastic. Both are washed together in the dishwasher. AND the knob now turns only clockwise. It's jammed if we try to turn it counter-clockwise. Just ordered another black & decker which holds up the best.
I don't know how to reduce the # of stars, but now I give it a 1 star.
Looks like we're the biggest loser.

(More customer reviews)I am so use to drinking bottled juice, so it is nice to try it fresh. The juicer is easy to set up. The mouth that you insert the fruit is large enough to place anything from the average size apple or smaller in whole. Anything larger will need to be cut to fit. The pulp is dry so you do get all the juice to drink
It is easy to take apart and clean up. There are no really small pieces to loose.
It does cause the counter to vibrate a bit, so you will need to keep an eye on the glass/cup that you are using so that it stays in place. Also, it is a bit noisy.

(More customer reviews)I love this grill. Yes, it's big, but for a family of four that's good. Problem? The non-stick surface is beginning to bubble after only 9 months of light use. At first, I thought it was just food left on the grill, but, alas, it is the surface coming away. It might be possible to make the grill last another year or so, if one were careful, but I don't think this should happen so soon. I don't think I have used it more than 25 times. I have sent an email to Breville asking for information on returns/repairs. I'll update this post after they respond (assuming they do).
UPDATE:
I contacted Breville via email, and they promptly replied with information on how to send it back. Assuming they concur with my assessment of the bubbling problem, I should receive a replacement. Can't ask for better customer service than that! A+
