(More customer reviews)I bought this Kalorik Food Processor mainly for shredding root vegetables such as carrots and beets because I hate doing it by hand. Just tested the first batch - it worked great, three huge carrots shredded in a minute (I had to cut the thickest pieces). I like the powerful 500W motor, many attachments including citrus juicer, and black color (does not stain). It looks sleek as well, and matches my other black appliances. It's a little bigger than I expected, and it also left a few thin chips of carrots in the shredded mass, but I am OK with it. I hope the shredding blade stays sharp for a long time. Great buy for the money I think.
