(More customer reviews)I love this item. It's hard plastic and the perfect shape. It came with my cuisinart food processor but I use it to cut brownies, cakes, pastries in the baking pan without scratching my bakeware. It is perfect for cutting and then lifting it out. This is pretty much all I use for this purpose. Others have seen me use it and have asked for it. In fact when I borrowed some a couple times they misteriously disappeared so I had to order some for back-up. I could never find them in the stores but had luck at Amazon. I have given several as gifts and even gave some to relatives in Europe they liked it so much. Definately worth it for the price.

(More customer reviews)I have been using these spatulas for a few weeks now. I wanted to test them in different cooking situations. I am very happy with them. They are heat resistant and very flexible. Of course the handles are made of plastic so you have to be careful with them or they will melt.
Edit 9/15/09: Nearly a year later and the spatulas are still going strong. I like them so much I am going to buy another set.

With the normal flat beater, I was having to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl several times during the mixing process for cakes and biscuits and almost felt let down after having desired my Kitchenaid for years before I could actually afford it!
Well, within seconds of using my new beater blade I felt relief and excitement that the Kitchenaid was finally working as it should. This product scrapes the sides and bottom automatically producing lovely fluffy results. Highly recommended for anyone who bakes a lot.
