(More customer reviews)I am a breast cancer survivor, but I can't say the same for the half a dozen hand mixers I owned before this one. One of our holiday traditions is oatmeal cookies, which are an extraordinarily thick combination of oats, shortening, sugar and flour. It has been the demise of all of my previous mixers, some of just shorted out, one caught on fire.
THIS KitchenAid however, has the power and torque to make quick work of those cookies and so much more. The style of the mixing blades makes them very easy to clean. The digital operation is incredible, and I've only had to use about half the power the mixer has.
I've owned this mixer through several batches of many cookies and waited 2 years to write this review because I wanted to confidently say - this is the real SURVIVOR.
