(More customer reviews)I bought this set as a replacement to an Oster set that I had bought at Costco for $20, 10 years ago. I couldn't justify paying the high prices and so when this went on sale for less that $50, I bought it. It has been nothing but a disappointment. The chopper does not chop. The Whisk, is a joke. Now about 9 months later, the motor has went out. I have never used it for anything thicker than soup, salad dressing, but mostly for blending milk. With my Oster, I used it to blend the organic peanut butter in the jar. I have only owned 1 Cuisinart product that has ever seemed to be any good (the set of pro - stainless steel pans). I wouldn't waste my money or time on anything else made by this company.
