(More customer reviews)What a fantastic little gizmo! Seriously, I have and use quite a few processors here at home, including two 11 cup Cuisinarts, one very large (commercial Robot Coupe), a smaller Kitchen Aid and they all operate fine. However, they take up a lot of space in my kitchen whether on the counter or in the cupboards. I bought this little guy for when I have just small amounts to chop and I don't know why but I was really amazed at what a great job it did doing smaller amounts. I should have known that Kuhn Rikon wouldn't send something to market that didn't work, I seriously love their kitchen gagets and have many of them here at home. When I got it home I took an onion to try it out and had great results. I was making short ribs and wanted the onion dice finely, I quartered a medium onion and put it in the bowl and gave the string 5 pulls and got just the perfect size onion pieces for my dish. It rinses out so much quicker than it takes to disassemble any of my food processors so it now stays out on my counter and gets used a lot. Will I get rid of my processors? No, but for small tasks you just can't beat this little gizmo, if I had to chop a whole bag of onions I might get tired doing it with this chopper and would use one of the bigger processors but for smaller tasks I don't think you can beat it.
