Cuisinart DLC-2014WBN-1 Work Bowl with White Handle Review

The bottom tab that secures it to the motor broke and due to the safety shutoff with the tab broken you had to push down on the bowl or it would not run. We love the food processor and use it much more then we thought when we first got it but I can't say that the quality is best.

(More customer reviews)I really like this slicer! I don't use it too often, but nevertheless, I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. I received my Cuisinart processor as a wedding gift several years ago, but never watched the video which accompanied it. I finally watched it and saw what things I could do with additional slicing tools. I like using this to slice cucumbers and carrots. Very fast and even slices. The grater has been wonderful for cheese, saving me hours of pain that would be caused by doing it by hand.

(More customer reviews)Much easier to use for processing/kneading with the metal or plastic blade than the original bulky cover.
CAUTION: The hideous red label can be a royal pain to remove without damaging the plastic. Don't use any kind of solvent (e.g., Goo Gone) because you'll wind up having to order a new cover. Oh, yes, believe you me. Sigh. Anyway, what worked for me: soak the lid in hot water first, to remove as much of the paper as possible. Then dry well, coat with oil (I used coconut oil) and allow it to sit overnight. Now you should be able to wipe off the oil and dissolved glue.

(More customer reviews)I love my Cuisinart Mini and have used them for years. I find that the blades fall apart after about 1 year-18 months of use. I have even tried only hand-washing, but it is inevitable. No glue can put them back together that I have yet found...all that said, I will continue to buy the blades periodically. The low intial cost of the unit gets multiplied over the years each time I need a new blade. If you can find the mini on sale to begin with, buy 2, because the entire unit is cheaper than the replacement blade.

(More customer reviews)I just bought three cuisinart dlc-5 food processors: first one for myself and then later two as gifts. I wanted more flexibility in the range of foods I could process; and as a result click on the Amazon accessory link for a 3mm slicing disc. This disk did not fit my food process.
I returned it, but Amazon was asking me to pay the return freight, as it was "my fault". I disagreed, and am awaiting the final outcome.
Not withstanding the outcome, I looked closer at the other links in order to buy more disks, and I see some of the other accessory links are not much better. April 2004

(More customer reviews)This is a replacement work bowl lid for Kitchenaid's 11-cup food processors, models KFP500, KFP600, KFP650, and KFP670. These models have been discontinued, and parts and accessories for them are no longer available from Kitchenaid. It is a perfect fit on my KFP600, purchased February 2000, and it looks a little more robust than the original lid (thicker plastic). I thought the price plus shipping was exorbitant for a piece of injection-molded plastic, and I considered knocking off one star for that reason. But unlike the KitchenAid 4176273 Food Pusher you could not make your own replacement, and this lid is less than one quarter the price of a new 12-cup Kitchenaid food processor.

been discontinued. The original bowl had become cracked (as most plastic
items do) and although it works perfectly I thought I would order one
for a back up. I found it with a little difficulty but must say the
order and delivery went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised at
how quickly it arrived.

KitchenAid Food Processor Work Bowl Review

(More customer reviews)I received the work bowl for my KFP 600 and found it to fit perfectly onto the unit; however, when I went to put on my not new, but not needing replacement, lid for the work bowl, I found they are incompatible and won't work together.
I'm frustrated to find I have to purchase an additional piece of equipment simply because the newer work bowl purchased (that is recommended for this specific model) is not completely compatible with all the other existing and original parts.
I would have liked to have known this prior to purchasing so I could have ordered both the bowl and lid at the same time and avoid re-ordering, paying for additional shipping and waiting an extended period of time to get my food processor up and running again.

(More customer reviews)I wish this 8mm disc had been part of the package in my 14 cup Cuisinart food processor. It is the perfect size for slicing up potatoes for mashed potato making. It's also a great size for a few other things, but I've only had it for two days and only used it for slicing potatoes. It is very very sharp (as it should be), and easy to snap onto the stem. I would highly recomment it to anyone who owns a 14 Cup Cuisinart food processor.
