KitchenAid 8212020 Wide Mouth Pusher Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Purchased this pusher to use with the Kitchenaid wide mouth chute and was pleasantly surprised to see it is a actually a dual pusher. There's an inner pusher cyclinder that you can use for narrowier items like carrots. The two for one capability is a definite plus.

Cuisinart DLC-806GTX-1 Flat Cover with Cap Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Much easier to use for processing/kneading with the metal or plastic blade than the original bulky cover.
CAUTION: The hideous red label can be a royal pain to remove without damaging the plastic. Don't use any kind of solvent (e.g., Goo Gone) because you'll wind up having to order a new cover. Oh, yes, believe you me. Sigh. Anyway, what worked for me: soak the lid in hot water first, to remove as much of the paper as possible. Then dry well, coat with oil (I used coconut oil) and allow it to sit overnight. Now you should be able to wipe off the oil and dissolved glue.

Magimix Cuisine Systeme 5150 Extra Work Bowls Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love my Magimix food processor (Magimix Cuisine Systeme 5150: Black) beyond reason and sometimes use it multiple times in one day, especially in summer when I'm processing all the garden's bounty and at holiday time. The bowls that came with the unit are sturdy and easy to clean, so I don't really need extras to replace the originals, but figured when an excellent promotion came along, getting more as standbys was a good idea. While I don't see my originals breaking, it will make things go faster not to have to wash them as much in between activities. They just arrived today and I'm planning to prepare several batches of bread and rolls so they'll immediately be put to work. And then, of course all those pies coming up, breadcrumbs for stuffing, chopped nuts, chopped herbs, dressings, relishes. They'll get a workout over the holidays for sure. This food processor is my favorite kitchen appliance and these extra bowls will increase its usefullness even more.

Cuisinart DLC-843TX 3-mm Medium Slicing Disc for 7- and 11-Cup Processors Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I just bought three cuisinart dlc-5 food processors: first one for myself and then later two as gifts. I wanted more flexibility in the range of foods I could process; and as a result click on the Amazon accessory link for a 3mm slicing disc. This disk did not fit my food process.
I returned it, but Amazon was asking me to pay the return freight, as it was "my fault". I disagreed, and am awaiting the final outcome.
Not withstanding the outcome, I looked closer at the other links in order to buy more disks, and I see some of the other accessory links are not much better. April 2004

Cuisinart® PowerPrep Plus® 14-cup Food Processor (white) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I liked mine so much that I bought one more as a gift. They are especially suited for those who already have a smaller one but at times need the bigger size. It is regrettable, however, that all the products we need and want seemed to be made in China. Wont you, please try to make that known in the advertizement for those to whom it matters.

KitchenAid KFPW760 Food Processor, 12 Cup Wide Mouth Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Very unhappy with this much touted processor You can't make a decent pesto sauce, neither the small blade for mini bowl, or normal multipurpose blade chops basil or small leaves well..For pesto you need a different appliance or mortar and pestle, not this behemoth. Worse, it is impossible to clean the multipurpose blade inside the shaft. When you make a paste or forcemeat it sticks like crazy glue to the plastic and no amount of soaking, heavy duty cycles in the dishwasher or wishful thinking can get the gunk out of the blade. Other foods stick to the plastic bowl - very difficult to clean, even after two runs in a good dishwasher. Kitchen Aid customer service couldn't offer any advice. Totally useless to call them. They are of absolutely no help.
This appliance is very heavy, don't count on taking it out each time. It has to have a dedicated spot on the counter. Doesn't come with fine slicing or shredding blade. Pulse action works well. Next time I'll go back to the more reliable and user-friendly Cuisinart.

WARING 2 1/2qt Batch & Continuous Feed Commercial Food Processor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am just replacing this very item and am glad to see it still made, we've had this CFP at our pub for over twelve years and it has been used on a daily basis to make; hummus, dressings,chop/ puree items. The buttons are worn out and it over heats in its old age...but that is to be expected, it still works. We still have all the attachments, actually I wish i could find just the stand alone unit. We never used the attachments much, just the knife blade. It is a good investment, on the small size but reliable.

KitchenAid 7-Cup Work Bowl Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My original bowl cracked at the handle, sending plastic pieces falling out, and making it impossible to work the food processor. After reading a few other reviews, this seemed like a common occurrence if it was put in the dishwasher (which ours definitely was
). I was so happy to find a replacement bowl since I love the food processor but was opposed to buying an entire new one at this point. This fit perfectly and everything is chopping, dicing, and pureeing again! Hooray!

Cuisinart Fine Grater Disc, fits 14-Cup Processor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Using this disk and my Cuisinart is so much easier than grating hard Parmesan on a Microplane grater. I use this whenever I need more than a couple of tablespoons of hard cheese. Since I usually make Italian food this disc has been a great help in my kitchen.
If you hate grating your own Parmesan on a microplane give this a try, I think you will love it.
It is also nice for grating dark chocolate so that it melts more quickly in a double boiler.
I highly recommend this product.
